Strawberries are the key to optimum brain power, say researchers.
Professor Bernard Rabin, a neuroscientist at the University of
Maryland, found that the fruit boosts brain function in animals.
Reporting in the journal Nature, Rabin suggests a strawberry-rich
diet is beneficial to humans, too.
At Tufts University in Boston,
scientists found that blueberries are the ultimate brain food
because of their rich antioxidants. Elderly rats fed the human
equivalent of a handful of blueberries daily improved in
coordination and concentration, a study published in The Journal of
Neuroscience reported.
